   Question on plate bypass chokes and associated caps:  I have Dentron amp
with 160m on it, but the bypass cap at base is 1000pf.  Then there is a
smaller maybe 10 turn choke of #12 enamel wire going to a second 1000pf cap.
I picked up a PIE plate choke and wonder if I should change out the 1000pf
door knobs for a larger value (one or both). What is the concensus on the
proper way to make this mod?
