I used to stock Alden connectors at Radio Kit, 99.9% of hams were too cheap
to buy them. I sold Millens so fast I couldnt get them fast enough from the
mfg. All I ever used was a Black one a few times as the B-. Wouldnt trust my
life or equipment with one at HV.
The PL-259/SO-239 on the 2M rig is still fine, hi-pots over 10 kv at 25
years and counting.
