My junk box holds a couple 28F2023G11 caps, 32 uF @ 4500VDC. I can find no specs for them on the web. I'm curious if they have a ripple current spec that would qualify them as suitable for a 3 kV @ 1A plate supply. Then again, when I look at what some of the surplus places think they can get for these ($100 to $200 each), maybe I'll put them up for auction and use a fraction of the $$ to buy electrolytics.
