Carl,

Thanks for the reply. The fan on the back is a replacement a previous owner got 
from Radio Shack, so it might not move as much air as the original. 

The top of the amp gets hotter than I would like so unless there is some reason 
not to, I think I will put a fan on the right side blowing in. I'm not worried 
about the noise, I almost always use headphones.
