Ive seen old USAF NIB surplus as little as $50 at a hamfest with $100-150
being more the norm on internet forums. Tubes are cheap, the socket is
usually the killer.

Now, with the Chinese providing tubes and sockets maybe others will become
interested in some homebrew.
