But Drake made an AM broadcast band and 160 meter converter.
They may require a simple external converter but barring that
very good SSB receivers and all have product detectors.
A single 6BE6 with a crystal and tuned RF input would make an excellent
converter.
Otherwise you are left with expensive and or poor choices.
You could consider a
R4C but not quite same era.
