I have 220V going into the back of this amp which has been working perfectly
for the past couple of months. The fuses are good, good spring tension, no
lights on meters, no fan, nothing.

Almost as if the front panel on/off switches are non functioning.

Any ideas?
This is a twin CPX800A7 rebuilt by RL Howard
serial number 704n

no smoke, no flashes, etc. puzzled. working one day, then not the next???
the on/off switches don't have that snap/catch feel either.
end.......

UPDATE 10.16.11

FYI

it now appears that there is nothing wrong with the amp. the problem is in
the feed to the amp. apparently, if one leg is 120V and the other is 0
volts, then the amp sees ZERO. Today is VOM to the breaker boxes and buss
bars, etc to check to see why I suddenly have lost 220 feed from the house
panel thru a buss bar panel to the 100A service panel in the shop which feeds
my shack.

been quite an education for a non electrician and further proof as to how
well Google provides info otherwise found at the library or the Orange Box's
book DIY shelves

Thanks for all the suggestions.
