REPLY: 
500 uH is rather high for amateur use. Most plate chokes are half that
or less. If you can't find what you want, RF Parts has a part number
RFC-3 that is nearly a universal choke for legal limit tube type amps.

I've used them in several amps. Highly recommended.

Ameritron sells an identical part and it might be a bit less
expensive.
