The sheet metal anodes are like 811's, easy to blow a hole in them.

The 813 was way underated as are many other tubes of that era, my own use of
them over decades indicates an ICAS Pd of 200-250W is more realistic and use a little air on the glass. I show just a little color on SSB voice peaks at
1200W for 4 tubes. On CW in a contest enviroment there is a fairly steady
dark red<
I'd agree about the carbon anode ones, but does that really apply to the metal anode ones?
