Glass tape usually turns to dust in UV sunlight.

I purchased a few rolls of glass tape when making my own baluns. It is both an insulator and keeps the lacquer covering on the wire from chaffing on the ferrite
core.
Think fiberglass thread woven into a strip of fabric. In the case cited, I used it on
each end to make certain the resistor was centered on the screw.
