That choke is the same as the $20 Ameritron and works fine in my stock tubed
76PA. Placement is a bit tight but Ive had no arcing or detuning.

The 12m mod was never performed and I would like some input on this.
I read an article by Mat KK5DR that this can be done simply by swapping
out the plate choke with an RFC3 from RF Parts.
Is it that simple?
