I also have a 76PA that has been upgraded to 3CX800A7'S, vac relays, etc done
by Dick N4UQ.
Its been a while since I have asked Dick about mods to my 76PA for 12M but as
I recall it was a more extensive mod than
just swapping out the plate choke and I decided not to do it. I would bounce
this question off Dick again to get his input.
Let us know what you find out. I would be interested in doing a 12 m upgrade
also if it wasn't too big of a deal.
