I spent quite a bit of time with Martin yesterday at Dayton. He and I
worked at the same defense industry plant back in the '60s, and have
been friends for a long time.
I don't believe he has any interest.

still in the rumor category) that after the merger, Alpha amps will be
assembled in Tennessee, but that engineering, design (and possibly
repairs?)
will continue to be done in Colorado. I'm glad they're keeping
engineering
separate. The design philosophies of the two companies are very
different.
