The thing I like best about my SB-220 is the wide range of impedances
that can be matched by the pi-network. Even with displayed SWR over 3:1,
tuning and loading still peak fine.
Are there any modern amps that are comparably forgiving? -- 73, Pete N4ZR Check out the Reverse Beacon Network at http://reversebeacon.net, blog at reversebeacon.blogspot.com. For spots, please go to your favorite ARC V6 or VE7CC DX cluster node. _______________________________________________ Amps mailing list Amps@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/amps |
