You are not missing anything. An L4B converted to 6M will be something around 50% efficient because the components used have not been optimized for that band. If your 750W output is key down you will realize over 1KW PEP and that is good on 6M. Bill VE3NHBill, What's left to optimize? only stock Drake part is the bifilar choke, everything else is designed for 6 meters.
