>RF-KIT, a firm based in Germany, was exhibiting a legal-limit HF Amplifier
Kit at the Hamvention. The unit on display was using two LDMOS power devices
and sported a 7" color touchscreen for amplifier control and status. The kit
includes everything necessary to build the amplifier except the Raspberry Pi
3 CPU, and three fans. The company's literature states that it can be built
in less than a day.

I met with them at Dayton and was under the impression that the LPF board is
not yet ready. 1-watt in yields about 1.2KW output power. For those not
wanting to build, NU6X will be offering a kit building service.
Nearby, the guys from eb104.ru were showing their water-cooled LDMOS
modules. I placed an order for all modules, water pump, radiator, and
whisper fans. The fan runs at low velocity - just enough for the radiator
to transfer heat. My ANAN 200D is modified for a complete PA bypass as well
as a high-isolation pre-distortion signal sample back to the Orion. The
ANAN's Orion board produces about 2-watts. That's enough to drive the eb104
LDMOS PA to 1.5KW+ in one step.
