Found a photo on mods.dk which isn't ideal but probably usable, however, the
manual PDF on BAMA excludes the parts list (which is mentioned in the index, so
the last few pages weren't scanned.) The parts list should include the values
for the input PI section used on 160 meters. Does anyone have a parts list for
GLA-1000C (and if you have an actual amplifier, be willing to photograph more
closely the tank circuit components)?

Thanks,

Thank to all who responded. The amp is SOLD.

My apology with the incorrect link on my original posting. It should have read:

Selling my TenTec Titan 425 HF amplifier sn 28300319.
I have used this amp daily since I bought it in 1988 and just took it out of
service to sell since I am downsizing.  It has performed well for me.  It is an
earlier version (brown panel) operates full QSK 160/80/40/20/15/10.  I have not
used it on WARC.  All original without mods.  Includes separate transformer, RF
deck, all interconnecting cables, manual, receipts, TT boxes.  All features
work: fan, bandswitch, led?s, meters, lights.

Amp has the original Eimac 3CX800A7 tubes.  Understandably they are softening
somewhat but they still soldier on.  I typically ran it conservatively 20-35 in
with 700-1kw out.  It will do more if you desire.  Having the separate RF deck
makes a great setup.  Tuning is a breeze with LED pwr indicator and dual analog
meters.

This amp functions way too well to be a parts unit.

Due to its weight (pwr supply 50#), I prefer not ship.  I live in Tyler, Tx in
eastern Texas about 100 mi East of Dallas, 200 mi N of Houston.
Price: $650 cash, certified check, PayPal OK.

More photos and details on my photo webpage: www.ws5cradio.spotify.com.  It is
a safe website.  Posting later today on QTH.  I am a long-time member of this
forum and have learned a lot here.

Thank you for your interest

I agree Lou. The Titan is one of my favorite amplifiers.

I'm going to start a project here an install my LAST GM3SEK triode board
into one. Found space between the front panel and the internal aluminum
front panel.

that will make a REALLY SWEET amplifier.

Im also building a VERY robust external power supply with a Heybour
transformer in it.The voltage is a bit higher that I want, but the
transformer came in an estate I was given.
Plate voltage will be about 2800-3000 volts.

Thanks

I plan modify an earlier version Dentron GLA-1000 series to cover 160 at
expense of 10M. If you have one of the "C" series amps and would be willing to
take some pictures of the amp (cover off, focus area on the tank circuits), I'd
be grateful. I'd like get a sense of how they rearranged the output tank
circuit to accommodate the (presumably) larger tank circuit coil, and if the
plate tuning capacitor (which appears to have some extra C switched in for 160
based on the schematic) differs from the earlier generation versions.

Thanks very much,
