I've just bought 3 of them from US7UX. Two have been delivered and the third is due this coming week. One was for VK6JDW and the other two for me for our Emtron DX-2SP amps.

He sells them for US$770 delivered to your door, pre-conditioned and Hi-Pot tested. I got a small discount from him because I bought the three tubes.

I also bought 2 x GU91B tubes. (4CX1600B equivalanet) They are for the old Emtron DX-2 anm and I believe Ten Tec had an amp which ran them. They are US$300 each delivered to the door.

I dare say that yours would have been cheaper when you bought them.

Dr Alex, UR4LL, still lists them at US$450 each plus shipping. He is always my first preference but with the current situation in the Ukraine, it was going to be difficult for him to ship certain items. He is currently working to resolve that issue or he may have done so already. We spoke earlier in the week.

Anyway, I hope that gives you some idea on pricing. I'm just sad that you are asking now. I feel that I could have saved some money buying them from you.

73, Alek.

I have a number of GU-84b's (new) and sockets (mostly used). No idea what
they're really worth, not much to go on based on Googling. What should I
expect to get for them (real-world prices, not eBay asking prices). Thanks
in advance.
