Greetings, all...

I have a question for any YO (Yagi Optimizer) users out there.

What is the proper method of measuring the first element segment length
of a antenna using Hy-Gain element-to-boom clamps? The manual implies
measuring from the center of the boom to the end of the first tubing
section, but this doesn't seem quite right. The code takes into account
the Hy-Gain element-to-boom clamp and creates an electrical tubing
equivalent. I would expect that the values shown in the Taper Menu are
the *exposed* element lengths... at least this is how I've used this
info in the past, to great success, I might add.

BTW, I'm using YO version 7.65, it is now over 6 years old, but I
haven't found anything out there that does what it does.

Many thanks in advance.

73,
Charlie N9CO
