Has anyone out there played with the new Watkins-Johnson HF-1000 receiver???
Has QST or anyone else reviewed it???

The HF-1000 is a commercial grade HF receiver now being sold thru ham and SWL
dealers. It has an extensive DSP subsystem. Features include 58 IF
bandwidths (as narrow as 56 Hz for CW), filter skirts nearly vertical down to
90 dB (all IF filtering is digital), third order intercept point of +30dBm
typical and +25 dBm minimum for signals separated by 20 kHz. All in all, it
looks -- on paper -- spectacular.

Is this a sneak preview of the RX capabilities of the FT-2000, TS-960-SDX, or
IC-881???
