Hmmmm.....I guess I will have to sked a trip home during one of these
contests. There is a TS-430 and a TA-33/40 just waiting to be used at one
of these 22 sites. Actually I am suprised that there ARE 22 hams in
Hamilton Co! Long Lake here we come!.....maybe. My blood sure has thinned
out living in Southern Calif and Florida.

Here is a score from outstate for the Pennsylvania QSO Party:
station: KM0L
state: MO
catagory: Single op, High Power

QSO's 64 (all CW) points 111.5 x 28 Pa counties = 2,122
                                                          +400 bonus
                                      claimed score = 2,522

Enjoyed the idea of working Cal one weekend and Penn the next.
Hope to catch all you guys and gals in SS.

Total Hours of Operation: 17:06

Equipment:

  Kenwood TS-450S/AT Barefoot
CQP50 Logging Software by AE6Y (found a scoring bug, BTW)
Cushcraft R-5 @ 20 Feet (I'm surprised anybody heard me!)
  20M/40M Parallel Dipoles @ 20 Feet (Ditto)
  Heil Pro-Set w/HC-4
Ramsey ChatterBox-1 Voice Keyer (modified slightly)

Highlights:

Working JA5JRQ on 20M with the Dipole
At least doubling last year's score
Suprised the Voice Keyer didn't have RFI problems (careful construction +
small mods)

Lowlights:
  Bad conditions
  No Beam
  Calling CQ with deaf ears

Still had a lot of fun though! Hopefully, conditions will be better for the
next contest!
