When the group responsible for qualifying stations for WRTC-96 first began to
set the criteria, there ensued a fierce debate over whether to automatically
disqualify any station with a Quad as being unfairly advantaged.
Sort of speaks for itself.

Forgot what "yes" and "no" mean, but......
Single-band should mean SINGLE BAND didahdidahdidah
"Feeding" contacts to a single band by recruiting contacts
on other bands may now be within the letter of the current
rules, but it is *way outside* the spirit, in spite of what
is written in someones "annotated rules".
While the young Turks in the "we-must-push-the-envelope"
contingent may lobby differently, "single band" to me means
"I did the work on a SINGLE BAND to get this score". If you
did some work on another band to put stations in the log on
a target band, then by definition you "did work" on multiple
bands to achieve your score on the "target" band. That no
longer sounds like a single band effort to me, and I don't
think it should be allowed in the "single band" category.
