Have you ever operated a multiop? Multis are already handicapped by a 10
or 15 minute rule in contests. They are not allowed to move bands once on
a band for that time period. What exactly does this mean? Well, there's NO
WAY you can operate two radios, like the high-end single-ops can. You
can't jump bands to collect mults, even on a single radio. If you go to 15
meters and make one contact, you've got to sit there 15 minutes on a dead
band before you can go elsewhere.

These are quite significant handicaps. Actually, in most contests multiops
still have time restrictions.
