Yes, the Buckmaster Grid Square Location is for my POB in
Gardnerville which is about 15 miles "south" of where I live.
According to Etak, my exact coordinates are 39.08403 N and 119.78565 W
(WORD has taken over my e-mail program. In case it plays games, there IS
a zero after the decimal place in my latitude.)
Another posting said I was indeed in the same square as my friend 1/2-mile
"up the road" which is DM09cc.
DM09 includes Reno so it isn't as "rare" as DM08, which starts about four or
five
miles south of my QTH. There is, hwever, Larry WB6??? who is very active in
VHF contests where grid squares are the thing living in Gardnerville.
