Agreed Tom and Mike, except many ops, especially in our contesting group are
a bit uncomfortable with 30-50WPM code speeds, and cutting out a SSB test
just wipes out a lot of players. Lets not take away the ground floor for
getting involved in contesting by dropping a NAQP SSB.
We'll be on this weekend along with 2 newbies who are tentative, but willing
to dive and get wet in contesting. BTW, I'm for earlier start/earlier
finish, as living in the South and nighttime contesting on 80 don't seem to
mix. HI.
