In a PGA event, it ain't over until the score card is signed - after the
player has reviewed it to make sure the score for each hole is correct.

In league bowling, the score sheet may be corrected before the recap
sheet is filled out. Even then the league sec. can correct errors in
addition on the recap sheet.

In the NFL, instant replay has been used. To bad the league didn't keep
it. Too many errors by refs!

In the NHL, goals and assists have been changed after the game was over.
And this was before instant replay!!

In Major League Baseball, hits and errors have been reversed after the
game was over.
Usually to pad the home teams stats!

In ham radio, the contest is over when the log has been submitted.
