Sure it is, but that would be against the rules if used for multiplier 
spotting, and I think Mike's point is that it is possible for a good 
experienced operator to end up in all these pileups without the benefit of 
packet.  Some of these guys are on completely different operating planes from 
us mere mortals...legally.
