Nice story Ken.  I owe much to a geography teacher I had in junior high
school who got me into the hobby.  For me, it was a way to talk to those
folks around the world that we had discussed in the classroom.  The hobby
had the benefit of getting me interested in electrical engineering later
on.  No way I can ever repay that debt!
