Hey, that was VERY cool, Tree.

As far as playback for WM5R goes, wanna bet you have a nice
fat pipe at work and you're on a dial-up at home?

Just a guess on my part, although processing speed might
be a factor...but a simple .wav like that doesn't take
a lot of juice played locally.

On a Windows machine I have access to, it breaks up a lot on playback.
There are gaps and stuff, and it's never the same twice.  On my Solaris
box at work, it's smooth and consistent.  I don't know if it has to do
with processing speed or what...
