I have the same issue and am guessing it is my well recycled antenna (it is
nearly older than me and I just turned 40). If there is an issue with the
-850 I would like to know also. Might also send your original note to the

Are you sure the problem is in the '850? I had a similar situation which
was
cured by a momentary transmit, and it turned out to be a bad solder joint in
a
coax connector. Just a thought.
