There has to be some skill required, because 90% of the spots during contests
are useless garbage anyway.
Only the old grey matter can tell you that the BY4A shown on 80 is really 6Y4A,
you'll never be able to work that XW which was spotted by a JA, and you ain't
gonna work the VK spotted on 160 at high noon.
Without some knowledge of propagation, call memorization, etc., packet would
just be a huge waste of time, right :-)
