This has always been my "modus operandi" for years. I "upgraded" from
WinNT 4.0 to Win2K to WinXP this way. It's an almost sure-fire way to
ensure that your devices software work the way they are supposed to, the
first time. Plus, if you only re-install application software on an
"as-needed" basis, you'll be amazed at how much old stuff you can
ultimately delete!
