Oh, come on Rich who's pulling who's leg? This discussion
has been going for a few days now and most folks have been
using and talking about version 1.2 which has been available
for some time. That's the version that most of this
discussion is about.
Now that you've pointed out there is a newer version
(Version 1.4 - ZIP file date/time stamped 12/06/2004) folks
who have been using the earlier version will be updating.
Further, regarding who said what when, despite what people
think there is often a latency between the various mail
servers, network nodes etc. As a result it is frequently the
case that one person makes a post that may seem to be a
"dupe" but he/she did not in fact ever see other post that
is essentially addressing the same issue. Despite what all
the ISP's like to tell people the digital highway is full
of pot holes and is not always in sync nor instantaneous.

Version 1.4 **does** have RIT with the up/down arrows!
It does not yet have (AFAIK) the other enhancements Ian
wished for (volume control for the sidetone and programmable
F keys), but I suppose that's only a matter of time!
