I decided to try a new policy during a recent trip to
PJ2. If someone called with other than their full call,
their prefix became "I2".
Example:
Me: "PJ2/K8ND QRZ?"
Caller: "XYZ"
Me: "Italy Two XYZ 59"
Caller: "Uhhh, my call is KC4XYZ. 59"
Me: "Are you sure? All I heard was "XYZ".
Normally I just don't answer them, but this was more fun!
