This Thursday, NCCC launches the Summer 2005 NCCC Sprint (NS) series.
-- 0230-0300Z (Friday Zulu) on 20, 40, 80 and 160 meters around
14040, 7040, 3540 and 1810.
For rules, see www.nccc.cc and click on the NCCC Sprint link
halfway down the page. For now, use your NCJ NA Sprint logging
module to record QSO's, or do it the old way with pencil and paper.
Give this weekly half hour a contest a try -- it should be
pure fun -- and report your scores, Q's x Mults, to the
3830 score page, www.hornucopia.com/3830score/. N6RO will
convene the NCCC Contest net on 3830 at 0300Z for discussion.
Additional notes on rules:
-- No round-robin or other arranged QSO's permitted.
-- LOGS:
-- No week-to-week submission of logs required
-- If you wish to compete for the awards, logs must be
made available at request of NS prize committee.
-- Intervening QSO Rule. NS allows dupes but only after both
stations have had one intervening QSO. To indicate to a
calling station that you've not had the req'd intervening
Q since working them, try
-- "NIQ" No intevening QSO
-- "LTR" i.e wait till later
-- or just "NO"
73 and we'll see you on this and subsequent Thursday nights
till Sept 2 (no NS on August 4).
