I'm glad everyone does not use CT.
There are a lot of contests that CT does not support, and if CT does not
support a contest you are screwed. AFAIK with all the other logging programs
adding a contest is a simple matter of generating an appropriate template.
If the software writers would like a challenge, here's one: support mobile
operation for a typical state qso party. That is:
Ability to easily change your QTH on the fly (including all memory messages
containing the QTH).
Keep separate serial number sequences from each QTH, including picking up
from previous qsos if reentering a QTH.
Pick up information on previous qsos regardless of the current QTH.
Keep a running score based on total qsos and overall multipliers.
Be able to generate scores and logs from each QTH (as well as overall score
and log).
And do it all by keyboard (every try to use a mouse in a bouncing car?)
And probably a few more things I've overlooked!
See you in the Ohio QSO Party on Saturday, August 27, when I'll be out
mobile using NA, unless my above dreams come true :>)
