Being not subscribed to CQ one will not get his results. That is fine
if you are in the contest to get couple of more new countries and
have general fun. But then one should not feel to be obliged to send
contest log to CQ.
There is no point since you will not know your result anyway.
That in turn lowers the accuracy of the published results and affects
those participants who are subscribed. Therefore it leads to lower
participation of those who really competes. They start voting with
their feet. Casual participants start to find this particular contest
as hardly worth spending time in. Contest dies...
Very sad.... Can someone present the dynamics of received logs in CQ
contests for the last 4-5 years?
Pretty interesting to see where these contests go.
