slowly i am coming to the realization why i have not received an award in
CQWW 160 CW LP for the past 8 years or so.

I can write in the SOAPBOX portion of the CAB file the hours i worked,
but it is the actual log that is checked?

an easy fix, just call N6RO or any other one of the run frequency chaps
at the start of each operating period.

one other point on LP and QRP class

in the same way though, unless you had human intervention with all LP/QRP
logs, you would not be able to ascertain the exact power transmitted, as
per CQWW rules. so NO ONE would be eligible for an award running low
power/QRP unless a human checked the SOAPBOX portion of the CAB
file...........to verify actual power used.
