Your post would seem to fit that criteria pretty well.

Without doing any of your proposals, the bands are already full
whenever a major contest is on. Do you really want them to be even
more crowded?

If your answer is yes, what is the reason? To increase everyone's
score? How about just taking the existing scores and multiplying by
two? Or five? Or ten?

Seriously, I don't see the need but I will keep an open mind. Convince
me, please.
