I have tweaked my CQ a little over the years, but have settled with: CQ TEST CQ TEST N2IC N2IC Note - no speed changes, no trailing "test". Spend a few minutes and listen to the other USA high-scoring beacons in a major contest - K3LR, W3LPL, KC1XX. You'll hear them all doing something very similar. And almost without exception, you'll also hear all of them giving their call after every QSO. Why mess with success ? 73, Steve, N2IC _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest |
