There have finally been some excellent suggestions offered on the Contest
Reflector to cure the age-old issue of confusing "cut numbers" (ATT, NT,
etc) and ridiculous power levels being sent by DX stations (NNN, OOO, etc).
My version is to suggest that DX stations just send their entry class as it
is abbreviated in the ARRL contest results.

The permutations would be limited and stations would know who they are
competing against. This or one of the other elegantly simple solutions (like
A, B or C power) would make the contest much more enjoyable for all of us
and reduce the number of logging errors that have nothing to do with
enhancing operator skill.
