Hello all: See the attached message if it will to through from NE4S,
the GQP manager, reporting that we have commitments for activity from
all 159 GA counties for the 2008 GA QSO Party next weekend, April
12-13. Last year we came close to all and K5YAA worked 146 of them.
This year we hope to achieve what once seemed an impossible goal, all
159. GA is second only to TX )(254) in number of counties. Many are
small, so it is possible for mobiles to run counties in rapid
succession. This does not mean that others who have not posted their
plans yet should not join in. The more the better. Hope to work all of
you next weekend from W4AN/M, the SECC club call in memory of the late
Bill Fisher, W4AN. Ops will be KU8E and W4AN. All announced route
should now be posted at: http://gqp.contesting.com. Any others should
report their plans to Jeff, KU8E at ku8e@bellsouth.net. 73, John, K4BAI.

My Congratulations and thanks to the Rover and Fixed stations in and out
of Georgia who have worked together make plans to acivate ALL
159 counties for GQP 2008.

25 stations have pitched in to make this possible.
N4PN's extensive list received yesterday has filled in all the open
counties.
*Thanks* to you all.

I believe there are more Rovers and Home stations to report activity,
please send in your plans.

We have missed counties in the past because of mishaps, events, and
interruptions.
A flat tire, a call from home, schedule problems, weather, and luck all
can overturn the best plans.
It is a *long* way from a "plan" to posting those logs as "received."
Complete your plans, make a rover run, get the home station on the air.

But, I do not think we have ever been this good of a position with a
week to go...

Great work!

Mike
