It seems to me that remote control operation, however
challenging it may be technically - or as a legitimate
pursuit in its own right, is incompatible with amateur-
radio award chasing and contesting.
Why? Because it replaces amateur-band RF with wired
circuits and, by definition, it requires the operator
to be located away from the station.
