We need less apparent cheaters along with the sunspots.
It was very disappointing seeing some of the stations affiliated with
irregularities.
Do Caribbean stations really need the extra help?
Will anything be done with this report by the ARRL?

Spotting was down from cw, must be the bad band conditions... only 39709
spots in the database. But a big weekend for spotters faking calls on
dxsummit! We REALLY NEED some sunspots!
The most spotted DX stations:

Spotter = the spotting station
dx = the dx being spotted
spots = the number of spots the spotter made for the dx total = the total
number of spots the spotter made during the contest pct = percentage of the
total spots the spotter made for just that one dx station.

had a long list. Some of these will show up later... But first, note our
old friend kp4ke with his good neighbor spotting him, and the obvious self
spotter eh5t:

All within about 20 minutes, all on exactly the same frequency, obviously
this user hasn't heard about the cluster dupe filter that removes frequent
re-spots on many nodes. I left in the 2 ea5gpc spots because they came from
the same node, in the same time frame, and with similar all capitals
comments... Only the sysop could tell for sure if they were from the same
IP.

Single spotter report
I'll skip this since there is so much other stuff, it looked unremarkable
anyway.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, right to the meat of the report this time. DXSummit was BADLY abused
this weekend. All the following come from a simple analysis of that data.
There is probably more, but I'll leave that up to the sponsor when they get
my raw data.

Canada??? These are the guys that do Blackberries... most likely they route
web access through a proxy system in Ontario. So, who's Blackberry was it?
Google is an amazing thing... some cross references:
K1MJ was a cheerleader for VP5H in arrl dx ssb in 2006 N0MJ is son of W0GJ
who is qsl manager for VP5h W0SMW is daughter of K0MD and on qrz says she

Besides being too high in the band for a while, most of these spots wouldn't
make it through the cluster network so were of limited help anyway. Of
course one spot from him for ve1op helps clarify the situation, but the IP

descr: located in Greece and having nodes in 63 cities
