Tod, I think the problem with Wikipedia is, as some one else said, that its
managers won't allow it to go into the kind of detail that contesters want
and need. What is appropriate for a general purpose encyclopedia, however
expansive, does not begin to meet the need that I'm suggesting exists.

I applaud your initial idea and initiative, Pete, and having full control
over detailed content outside of the formal Wikipedia spectrum is the way to
go.

There seems to be a shift to more use of the term RadioSport these days, and
I'm wondering if that using this might somehow attract more interest to
would-be contesters?

Assuming your RadioSport/Contesting Wiki concept comes to fruition, I think
it would be beneficial if all RadioSport/Contest sponsors include text link
within *their* rules to point Noobs to the more detailed information which
will undoubtedly include operating strategies, tips, etc. ???
