In general, there is no reason to delete duplicate contacts.  In fact, in 
contests with serial numbers, it could introduce serious issues, so I'm 
surprised to hear that comment about TR-log.  

The presence of a duplicate contact in the log could confirm that the other 
guy busted your call once, for example.  

In the end, don't worry.  Be happy.  Log whomever you work, send it in, and 
move on.
