My fellow North American contesters

I wanted to take a moment to make an appeal for you to consider setting your
paddles aside for 4 hours, and getting on the air for NCJ NA SSB sprint this
weekend. This contest is showing an unfortunate trend of rapid decline in
participation, and there is a genuine concern from many in the community that
this contest will not be able to continue if the pattern stays consistent. I
am confident that you my friends and colleagues in the contest community do not
want that to happen, and all it will take is 4 hours of your time to
re-energize it. A practice session has also been set up for this evening, see
announcement from N6RO.

This contest is fast paced and fun, and doesn't require a huge time investment.
If you are at all able, and willing to keep a good contest on the map, please
plan on being qrv this weekend, perhaps approach a local team organization.

I hope to see increased numbers of sprinters on the NA sprint SSB this weekend.
The more of us that get on the air, the more fun it will be. If you have less
than 4 hours to invest, Jump on when you can! lets all show the contesting
world we value all of the contest bandwidth we get!

Thanks for the bandwidth, cu on the air Saturday, and 73
