Hi,

I own MDR-7506 and love it. I bought that for listening to music, not
for radio, but it works for both. As a music listening headphone, it
is splendid. I enjoy acoustic music, jazz, classical etc with it.
It is also collapsible, comes with nice bag, which is good for
carrying around if you intend joining as multi op.

I also have CM500. This is a value-for-money PC headset. I used this
several times in phone contests. It works OK but construction, comfort
and sound quality fell a little behind, unsurprisingly, more expensive
ones. It is targeted for PC gaming, not for music. It has ECM so the
mic line needs to be phantom powered unless your radio is ICOM. (PC's
mic jack is already phantom powered.)
