Yes, that is the correct terminology.

Checking the cluster (or, any information source) after the contest to
correct your log is cheating, i.e., violating the rules.  Using a DX cluster
during the contest to find stations/frequencies is Assisted.  This is all
explained in the WPX Rules and FAQs at www.cqwpx.com.
