A little clarification.....AFAIK, in the 2011 SS, there was not a single highly 
motivated op ("HMO") that did the station rotation routine.  perhaps back in 
2009 or 2008, but not recently.  And the number of hams that did that in PVRC 
land in 2009 or 2008 could be counted on one hand.

If they use a different ---transmitter--- and a different ---call--- and it's a 
different ---operator--- then it is allowed. This is exactly how PVRC and NCCC 
rack up those big club aggregate scores in Sweepstakes.

Example:

For the first 12 hours of SS, N6TV travels to the W0YK QTH, using the call 
NN6TVV, using his K3.

For the last 12 hours of SS, N6TV travels to the N6RO QTH, using the call 
NN6ROO, using a FT-2000.

Also, for the last 12 hours of SS, AE6Y travels to the W0YK QTH, using the call 
AE6YY, using an Orion II at the W0YK QTH.

This is all completely okay under the rules.
